Sexual problems arise for a variety of reasons unique to you and/or your partner. There may be a history of severely negative messages about sex from parents or others. There may be a history of sexual trauma. there may be anger in the relationship that has not been resolved.
Sex Therapy is primarily a way of working with sexual problems that involves both changes in thinking and use of behavioral assignments. You will never be asked to do anything remotely sexual in the office. Those assignments are for the privacy of your home.
